I JUST WANNA PLAY / For the love of music

It plays like a guitar, it looks like a ukulele. It's a Yudelele. Which is an instrument invented by Yude who lives in Ubud, Bali.

This is the film about Yude's story about his love for music and traveling and how these two closely connected are making the world a better place.

Yude grew up in Java and now lives in Bali where he is now inspiring other people to express themselves using music.

I first heard about Yudelele and Yude back in december of 2022 and immediately felt the urge to make a film about this.

Thank you to Maximilian Scherer who helped out filming the behind the scenes material, of which a lot ended up in the film itself. When I landed in Bali I asked a question in the Lost Creator Academy Community (where I am a member since november 2022) page on Facebook if there was someone on the island who would like to help me out with this. Maxi responded and we met up for breakfast in Ubud on the day of shooting.
